Description

NerdQaxe++ Hydro Rev 6.1 is an open-source, compact ASIC miner designed for the SHA-256 algorithm. It is specifically built for solo (“lottery-style”) mining of Bitcoin (BTC) and other SHA-256-based coins.

The key feature of this version is its advanced hydro-cooling system, which allows the unit to achieve high hashrates (up to 6 TH/s) and stability while running with significantly less noise than traditional air-cooled miners. It is powered by 4x BM1370 ASIC chips (the same silicon found in industrial Bitmain Antminer S21 Pro) and runs the open-source AxeOS firmware.

• Hydro vs. Air Cooling: Unlike the standard air-cooled Rev 6.1, the Hydro version uses a liquid cooling loop. This results in ultra-quiet operation (as low as 30dB) and more stable thermal performance, making it suitable for living rooms or offices where noise is a concern.

• Chip Note: The “++” designation indicates the upgrade to BM1370 chips, while the “Hydro” designation indicates the liquid cooling system.

• Proven Hardware: The standard (non-hydro) NerdQaxe++ units have verified on-chain block finds (including Block #944,078 earning 3.132 BTC), proving the capability of the BM1370 chipset in a home environment.

• Firmware: Runs AxeOS (Open Source). Features a web dashboard for configuration and supports “swarm” monitoring of multiple units.

• Ideal Use: Targeting hobbyists and home miners who want to participate in the “Bitcoin lottery” without the noise, heat, or power requirements (100W) of industrial miners like the Antminer S19 or S21.

Processing Time
