Every coin here can be mined with ASIC hardware. Each one gets a long-term score out of 100 built from live market data: how big and liquid its market is, its one-year trend, how far it sits from its all-time high, its supply schedule and the depth of its mining hardware ecosystem. Open a coin to see exactly how its score is made.

How the long-term score works
- Market size, 25%: market cap on a log scale, from $10 million (0) to $1 trillion (100).
- One-year trend, 20%: price change over 12 months, from −80% (0) to +100% (100). Coins with less history use 30 days.
- Liquidity, 15%: 24-hour trading volume as a share of market cap, from 0.5% (0) to 5% or more (100). Liquid coins are easier to sell after mining.
- Distance from all-time high, 15%: from 95% below its peak (0) to at its peak (100).
- Mining ecosystem, 15%: Mine Mirth’s rating of ASIC availability, manufacturer choice and resale and hosting depth for the coin’s algorithm. This is the only part that is our opinion rather than market data.
- Supply schedule, 10%: coins with a fixed maximum supply score 50 plus half the share already issued; coins without a cap score 35.
